Road Trip!
Having a rental while at the Wharf gave us a longer range to explore. We drove to New Orleans to celebrate Thanksgiving with Debra and Jim and their friends. Unfortunately, no pictures were taken! I guess that is proof it was a fun filled few days!
We took a day trip over to Mobile and enjoyed the area visiting a museum, walking around and stopping at few breweries.
A stop at Mobay, good but no comparison to New Orleans.
Stopped in at the Mobile Carnival Museum and what a great stop! We were treated to a personal tour with a local and historian of Mobile Carnival. We walked away amazed at some of his stats and stories about the history of Mardi Gras – Mobile style.
A nice selection of breweries with good beer, but nothing earth shattering.
