          • The C&D canal is a working waterway with over 25,000 vessels a year using the waters. Since it is a deep canal lots of commercial ships and tugs move across the canal with recreational boats. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • We were pondering going further to Delaware City but the currents were not in our favor and it would have been low tide when we approached the dock. So, we decided to drop anchor at the basin of Chesapeake City. However, luck was on our side when we turned into the small basin we noticed a spot on the free town wall. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n

            • The Delaware Bay lays between Delaware and New Jersey and supports a large number of commercial vessels.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • There is no place to run for cover on the Delaware Bay and with high currents and tides one must plan carefully and pick a perfect day to cross the Delaware Bay.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/details>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
