Three Sons cruised across the Chesapeake Bay in calm waters and with joyful hearts. We were headed for Annapolis where we would meet up with Bob’s mother, who flew into BWI from Providence and Bob’s sister, who flew into BWI from New Orleans. They met in the airport and ubered over to Annapolis Yacht Marina where they moved onboard and settled in. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

While in Annapolis, we were treated to the Blue Angels show! The sound was astonishingly loud and deceiving. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Three Sons provided a great view for our visitors to take in the Blue Angels. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The United States Navy Blue Angels are known for their precision flight demonstrations.  The Blue Angels are one of the oldest aerial acrobatic squadrons in the world, and their maneuvers include highly technical flight formations and daring high-speed maneuvers that defy gravity.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Flying low and showcasing their teamwork, professionalism, and aerobatics was a definite treat.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Nighttime fun on Three Sons!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

One of the many statues at Lawyers’ Mall at the foot of the Maryland State House.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Lawyers’ Mall is a civic plaza houses the Thurgood Marshall Memorial. It was recently redesigned and can accommodate groups over 1000. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Walking around the Naval Academy campus, we caught a performance of their Drum and Bugle Corps. They played a fabulous collection of fun, upbeat tunes. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The Naval Academy Chapel is home to the world\u2019s largest drawknob organ. The organ is controlled by two consoles and has over 15,000 pipes and 268 ranks. Luck was on our side, during our visit in the chapel the organist was practicing for a concert later in the week. We sat in a pew and were in awe of the loud, booming, beautiful sounds. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
