Since lots of Loopers were headed up the Hudson from Shady Harbor, we decide to hang back one day. We enjoyed a relaxing day with a few chores and ended with dinner on Sweet Equity with Kim and Andy. Our departure from the docks with scheduled “wheels up” at 8AM. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Yes, one of our buddy boats is a pilot! The cruise to Waterford involved one lock and it was nice to have that experience under our belts. Our strategic planning worked out, we arrived at Waterford and found an empty wall for all three boats. We explored a bit, took a memorable trip to Hannaford’s and ended the night with belly laughs docktails. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The local Hannaford’s grocery store has an exception for visiting boaters – they unlock their shopping carts and allow them to be taken to the waterfront and come and retrieve them the next day.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
