Canada far exceeded any of our thoughts and expectations! After 8 weeks of cruising in Canada, we are back in the USA! Three Sons managed 94 locks and 900 Nautical Miles in Canada while visiting 37 different places in both Ontario and Quebec! <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

In order to deny the number, data on butter tarts and Kawartha Ice Cream stops were not kept! We had planned on anchoring more but with the Canadian Pass and the lock walls being amazing, there was no need. In total we spent: 45 nights at a dock or wall,10 nights on anchor, and 2 nights on a mooring ball. We absolutely loved our time in Canada! We managed to see various areas each with such unique characteristics and beauty with endless opportunities for exploration and entertainment. The journey was most definitely enriched with the folks we have met along the way!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just the way we like it! Our check in back into the USA was quick and easy. We traveled 46 Nautical Miles across Georgian Bay crossing from Canada into the USA. Just as we approached the marina we checked back into the states using the ROAM APP. Our fellow boaters all needed to complete a video conference but we got the all clear immediately!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We checked into Drummond Marina and got settled then borrowed the 80’s Suburban and set off for some lunch and exploring. Hamburgers with Olive Mayo was on the menu and absolutely delish! We did a quick reprovision in the tiny grocery store, an ice cream stop and then a fire on the beach to welcome us back home!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
