{"id":9400,"date":"2025-05-03T08:16:11","date_gmt":"2025-05-03T12:16:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/threesons.us\/?p=9400"},"modified":"2025-05-03T08:33:42","modified_gmt":"2025-05-03T12:33:42","slug":"new-smyrna-beach-fl","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/threesons.us\/?p=9400","title":{"rendered":"New Smyrna Beach, FL"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Finally made it to this destination on our 5th trip cruising the East Coast!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Where, When and How &#8211; The Stats<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sunday, April 20, 2025: Titusville to New Smyrna Beach, FL via Indian River to Haulover Canal to Mosquito Lagoon, Cruising Time: 4 hours, Distance 28 Nautical Miles<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Calm Sea and Sunshine &#8211; The Good<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Absolutely beautiful weather for cruising and touring a new little town.  The sky was bright blue, with little clouds, no wind and high 80&#8217;s temperature.  Cruised though the man made Haulover Canal on Easter Sunday and tons of folks were fishing and enjoying the water.  Spotted a few mentees but less wildlife than in the past. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Finally, made it to New Smyrna Beach Brewery to enjoy the beers that were willed to us!  Thanks Pickett&#8217;s Pub and then Ted and Kelly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A full day of bike riding and exploring New Smyrna Beach: riding on the beach with cars, peeking into small shops, coffee stop with adorable swings, riding through Smyrna Beach Dunes and lunch at Jimmy Hulu&#8217;s! <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Strong Winds and Currents &#8211; The Not So Good- The Good<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Not being with the boys and family on Easter Sunday!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\"
