We took a quick jaunt up the Hudson River to Rondout Creek to visit the quaint waterfront town of Kingston, NY.

The highlight was finally meeting up with Sweet Equity for a drink at the Old Savannah Table and Bar. It was such an exciting time, we never took a photo. The low light was Kingston Municipal Marina. The first place, we can say we would NEVER go back, mainly due to the rudeness of the dockmaster. Beyond being rude, he charge us more than quoted on the website. When we questioned the price per foot, his quote “that is 2022 prices and I don’t control the website.” Added to that, he claimed our boat was 55 feet. Oh, the jokes I could have made, instead I said, “Well, we will just leave.” Suddenly, the price per foot went down and we were shorter.

After meeting Kim, Andy and Bailey our plan was to dingy over to their boat for dinner but a sudden downpour made for a ‘rain check.’ Once the rain cleared we walked UP hill to a brewery for a beer and pizza. Before heading out for the day, we took a stroll to a really cute and extremely expensive coffee shop.
