Lots of stories about how miserable the weather conditions can be crossing Lake Simcoe. We some luck and planning, we had a sunny, beautiful, calm day with weather conditions that lead to an enjoyable 17 Nautical Mile cruise. The Port of Orillia was a great stop to relax, explore and check off some chores and provisioning. An added bonus was the marina had fabulous individual bathroom pods and free laundry!
