Well! When we left MA, we did not have a plan where we were going but we had the hope of landing in Northern Florida. After traveling for 8 weeks, we arrived at Marineland, Fl on December 2. We were very excited to be flying home for the holidays but knowing it was cold in New England, we stayed in Marineland and the sunshine for two more weeks. Marineland is 30 miles South of St. Augustine and North of Daytona. A tiny place with a population of 7 and not much around but the marina is directly across the street from a beautiful beach. What more do you need? We explored the area, went to the beach, biked each day and did some boat projects including beginning the project of refinishing the teak – a labor of love or stupidity!
