AGLCA Rendezvous

For the second year, we attended the AGLCA Rendezvous in Norfolk, VA.

This year, we stayed at Tidewater Marina across the Elizabeth River. The Rendezvous sessions were filled with invaluable information especially cruising in Canada. We meet so many Loopers and participated in Looper Crawls, discussion groups, Happy Hours and docktales.

Since Baltimore Harbor is closed, cruise ships are being diverted to Norfolk. Carnival Pride making a three point turn in Elizabeth River between the two marinas filled with Looper Boats. Three Sons is pictured in the marina off the behind the ship. It was quite a sight to see the tight turn.
A silly picture of a parking machine that signifies the kindness of folks. We needed to take a ferry from the conference to our boat. One night ran late and it was raining so other boater offered up rides so Loopers at the other marina did not need to walk in the rain. Somehow Tracy got separated from Bob and rode with fellow loopers in another looper’s car!
