Week 1!
We pulled out of Farmers Cay in timing with the currents and had a smooth exit. Julian waved goodbye to us on the docks and encouraged us to stop back on our way back north.
We cruised the Exuma Sound into Georgetown and it was magical! So smooth and peaceful. The depths were amazing and varied greatly and quickly. This made for some great fishing so Bob put out a line in hopes that we will be yelling “fish on” He had snagged a beautiful blackfin tuna.
We picked up a mooring ball outside of Chat N Chill, feeling blessed to be back in our happy place! Our first week back consisted of a dinghy concert, stops at Chat N Chill and Peace and Plenty, registration for the Cruisers Regatta, amazing sunrises and sunsets and our first, but definitely not our last, trip to the brand new beach bar, Coconut Club! We took a few dinghy rides across the harbor into town and one stop at Exuma Market.
