Week 2
Yet another spectacular week in the Bahamas filled with beach days, a blow, happy hours and tooling around on the dinghy in Elizabeth Harbor. Three Sons is moored outside of Chat N Chill and feeling blessed each day to experience life on the water at this gorgeous location.

George Town, Exumas, Bahamas is a place many cruises visit (or winter) year after year. Currently, there are 387 boats anchored or moored in Elizabeth Harbor. We laugh daily that this place is just a glorified retirement home. Daily activities planned and announced on the radio: Beach yoga, water aerobics, rum tastings, volleyball, and pickleball just to name a few. Volleyball beach is filled with picnic tables where folks gather to chat, socialize, play games. Most folks are up with the sun and back on their boat and settled in for the night before dark. It is our kind of life, we love it!

Truly the Southerner Most Loopers Docktails at 23°30.429N a full degree further south than Key West. We enjoyed the ARG (Alcohol Research Group) Rum Tasting with our Bahamas 25 Flotilla and a few other loopers. We needed to dinghy over to Basil’s Classroom – aka a very small pavilion overlook that can not really hold the folks that showed up – anchor the dinghy, wade through the water and hike up a steep, but little hill. Yup, worth it!

Spent half a day on the boat while a blow came through with winds in the lower 40’s and a driving rain. Thankfully, it did not last long and we were still able to dinghy over to Snappy Turtle for Happy Hour.

Coconut Club is a new addition to Stocking Island and unlike any other beach club around.

Days filled with trips to the beach, a different beach each day!

Our goal is to keep moving, thankfully lots of hiking trails on Stocking Island.
