We had some salon windows that were cracked a little and during the winds from Hurricane Ian our solar panels blew off and cracked some more windows. We finally had some time to take on the project of replacing them. In the end, we were very happy with the new windows. In the process we learned: nothing on a boat is square, the specialized glass does not shatter and is very strong, no two windows are the same size even though they look it, getting the windows out was much harder than putting them in. Also, we always thought glass was made of sand but after getting the bill, we learned boat glass is made of gold.
