George Town, Exuma Continued

We continue to explore and enjoy the culture, weather and community here in George Town. Three Sons is moored in Elizabeth Harbor which is about a mile wide with George Town on the southwest side and Stocking Island on the northeast side.

Our mooring is directly outside of Chat N Chill which is social epic center for boaters. The area is actually like a day camp for boaters: picnic table, volley ball, card games, Yoga in the AM, chilled out atmosphere and even beach church on Sundays. Stocking Island has no roads and just a few establishments only accessed by boat. We tend to spend more time on Stocking Island than the main land and town. We dingy over to the town to pick up groceries, (when the mail boat delivers the goods) get water, and go to dinner or breakfast. Our attire consist of bathing suits, t-shirts and PJ’s and have only worn shoes a handful of times. We certainly feel blessed to experience this island life. Recently the quote on the morning net was “The water might be salty but this is the sweetest life.” We could not agree more.

The best sunsets from the deck of Three Sons.
Socializing with other boaters at Chat N Chill.
Chat N Chill has ropes and swings and Three Sons in the middle of the tire swing!
Chilling at Chat N Chill!
Lots of hiking trails in the park and around the island.
So many swings along the shoreline and in the water edge.
Drone shots (not ours) of the Dingy Concert!
