Read More »On the HardWhile Three Sons was on the hard getting new engine mounts and the propellers balanced, the crew took a road trip to the Outer Banks. We enjoyed three days along with two days of some fabulous weather and a day of rain taking in all the sights from Kitty Hawk to Hatteras.

So, in order to get some miles behind us we decided to move fast and anchor out. This also gave us time to rest and enjoy nature.

Read More »Kilkenny & Savanah, GACumberland Island was on the top of our list of places we regretted missing. This year we made a two day stop at Georgia’s largest and southernmost barrier island. We so enjoyed the 17 miles of undeveloped beaches, wide marshes, pristine natural beauty, hundreds of wild horses, and the unique history which includes stories of the wealthy Carnegie family.
Read More »Cumberland Island, GAIt was a quick jump crossing state lines from Fernandina Beach, FL over to St. Mary’s, GA. Generally, we skip Georgia and cruise the ocean to move a bit faster. This year, we are going to slow it down and explore the Georgian spots we have missed.

Read More »New Smyrna Beach, FLThis is our fourth stop in Titusville. It is not that exciting of a town but definitely meets our criteria for a repeat stop: easy, cheap, conveniently located, good bathrooms and laundry, a cute main street with a good brewery, wine bar and a few wonderful unique restaurants. This stop we got tickets to a Broadway musical at the Titusville Playhouse. It was fabulous and beyond our expectations.
